Free cricket kit for schools and community groups

Make a wish list

Tell us what gear and clothing you'd like — we'll match it with kit that's been donated and let you know what we can offer. The wish list takes a few minutes and there's no cost to you.

Who can submit a wish list?

  • State schools (primary and secondary)
  • Community cricket clubs and informal groups
  • Refugee and disadvantaged groups
  • Individual players who otherwise could not afford kit

We prioritise schools, groups and individuals based on greatest need and on a 'first come, first served' basis.

How it works — five simple steps

Email us first with your case for need

Before completing the wish-list form, please email Spencer ONE with your name, organisation, and a short request explaining who the gear and clothing is for and why you need second-life kit. This is a quick screening step so we can prioritise need fairly.

Wait for a positive response

Spencer ONE will review your request and reply by email. Once you receive a positive response, you can move on to the wish-list form below. Orders are reviewed and cannot be guaranteed — you'll be advised whether your order has been authorised.

Tell us what you need

Fill in the wish-list form below. Tell us who you are, what items you'd like and how many of each. The form also captures the rationale fields (who the gear is for, where you're based, what it will be used for, why second-life).

We confirm what we can offer

You'll hear back by email confirming what we can offer. We prioritise based on greatest need and on a 'first come, first served' basis. If we don't have what you need now, we'll keep your wish list on file and let you know when matching gear comes in.

Pick up gear from Spencer Cricket Club

Collect your cricket gear and clothing from Spencer Club, Fieldview, Earlsfield, London SW18 3HF. At this stage Spencer Cricket Club is the only pickup point; further drop-off centres will be added as partnerships develop. Before collection please download, print and sign our disclaimer, or sign a printed copy at the club when you arrive.

Submit your wish list

Before you fill this in — email us first

Please email Spencer ONE with your name, organisation, and a short request for your need (who the gear is for, where you're based, why you need second-life kit). After a positive response, you can complete the wish-list form below.

Orders are reviewed and cannot be guaranteed. You will be advised whether your order has been authorised.

The form takes a few minutes. Collapse the categories (Equipment, Protective Gear, Clothing, Footwear, Accessories), tick the items you'd like, and tell us how many of each. There's a free-text box at the end if your item isn't listed.

Don't forget to tell us which collection centre you'd prefer to pick up from. The form also asks which referring organisation introduced you to CCG Hub (e.g. Surrey Cricket Foundation, Spencer Cricket Club, a school, etc.).

Trouble loading the form? Open it in a new tab or email jamie.greig@spencercricket.org or hyde.acland@gmail.com.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to email first before filling in the form?

Yes. Please email Spencer ONE with your name, organisation and a short request for need. After a positive response you can complete the wish-list form. Orders are reviewed and cannot be guaranteed.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. Kit from CCG Hub is free for schools and community groups. We just ask that you put the gear to good use.

How quickly will I hear back?

We aim to reply within a few working days. During the busy summer months it may take a little longer, but we'll always confirm we've received your wish list.

How do you decide who gets what?

We prioritise schools, groups and individuals based on greatest need and on a 'first come, first served' basis. We try to be fair and transparent about how stock is allocated.

What if you don't have what I asked for?

We'll keep your wish list on file. As soon as matching gear is donated, we'll get in touch. The Hub is open from 11 May to 14 September 2026, so there's plenty of time during the season.

Where do I collect from?

Spencer Club (Spencer Cricket Club), Fieldview, Earlsfield, London SW18 3HF is the pickup point. Further drop-off and pickup centres may be added as partnerships develop — for example with Wandsworth Borough Council (WBC).

Do I need to sign anything?

Yes — before collecting your gear you will need to read and sign our disclaimer. You can print and sign it in advance, or sign a printed copy at Spencer Cricket Club when you arrive. This confirms you understand the gear is provided "as is" and accept the conditions of use.

English isn't my first language — can someone help?

Yes. If you'd find it easier to email or speak to us in another language, just let us know in your email and we'll do our best to help.

What kind of items can I ask for?

Bats, pads, gloves, helmets, trousers, shirts, jumpers, cricket shoes, balls and bags.
